Job summary

Symons Fire Protection, Inc. is expanding its Business Development team in San Diego and Orange County. We seek a strategic, relationship-driven professional to grow key customer relationships across production homebuilding and multifamily construction markets.

You will drive account plans, pursue new business, and build a robust sales pipeline with cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in construction sales, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of sales or business development in construction/trades.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic account plans for priority customers.
• Identify and pursue new business with builders, developers, and general contractors.
• Build a structured target account list and convert relationships into qualified opportunities.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Operations, Design, and Project Management to win and hand off projects.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide leadership with forecast visibility.
