Job summary

Holland & Knight is seeking an early‑to‑mid‑level Business Development Coordinator in its Chicago or Washington, DC offices. You will support marketing and business development projects across practice groups, run events, assist with pitches, and help manage directories, awards, and client research.

You will work with attorneys and the BD team, developing project ownership, maintaining collateral, and coordinating communications while growing your understanding of the business of law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, or professional services; law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing and business development projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate practice-specific events, webinars, and client dinners.
• Assist with pitch materials, presentations, and RFP responses.
• Manage directories, awards submissions, and narrative drafting.
• Conduct basic industry and client research; synthesize findings.
