Job summary

Chase is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to help clients strengthen their financial positions and grow their businesses in Seattle and surrounding areas. You will manage a portfolio of 70–90 business clients, delivering tailored banking solutions and advice to improve profitability and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, risk awareness, and collaboration with partners across lines of business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services.
• Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients.
• Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and know when to elevate or handle independently.
• Determine and balance priorities daily to achieve business objectives and own problems for clients.
• Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 70 - 90 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million; provide solutions up to $500,000.
• Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients with tailored banking solutions.
• Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify and promote client-focused solutions.
• Conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and clients; follow a disciplined relationship development process.
• Identify and pursue potential new business clients and cultivate long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with partners across lines of business to meet client needs and ensure profitability.
• Provide leadership by supporting branches and adhering to risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
