Texas State University in San Marcos is seeking a Strategic Business Advisor to document processes and define performance metrics across TXSTGlobal. You will identify gaps and help drive improvements through data-driven insights.

The role emphasizes building out TeamDynamix workflows, updating guidelines, and benchmarking to enhance service delivery for students, parents, and staff. A remote-capable, university-wide position offers flexible collaboration across the Texas State system.

  • Proficiency with TeamDynamix or comparable project-management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate project files.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students/parents.
  • Interact courteously with staff.
  • Decide best referral for students, individualize needs, respond to a variety of inquiries.
  • Remote work: Competence in managing responsibilities and communication effectively in a remote work setting.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to changing goals and requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Organization, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project-management practices, including project intake and prioritization.
  • Experience using TeamDynamix (TDX) platform
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders in a complex and changing environment.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, maintain accurate project documentation, and meet deadlines.

  • Project management or comparable professionalcertification
Job Description:
