Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of progressively responsible higher-education student financial services experience, with leadership responsibilities.
• Minimum three years in a Bursar/Deputy Bursar/Assistant Bursar role with broad student accounts oversight.
• Minimum three years of direct supervisory/management experience.
• Experience managing full student accounts lifecycle and financial controls, compliance, and risk.
• Experience with aging analyses, collections, and improvement initiatives.
• Experience with SIS/ERP and related financial technology; process improvements and dashboards.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for student accounts, billing, AR, cashiering, and refunds.
• Ensure accurate posting, reconciliation, and reporting of student financial transactions; GL reconciliation.
• Develop and execute AR and collections strategies; monitor aging and performance.
• Oversee payment arrangements, holds, write-offs, and external collection relationships.
• Establish internal controls, audit trails, and segregation of duties; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and auditors on reviews, year-end processes, and risk mitigation.
