You will influence specifications, present solutions, and develop proposals, leveraging deep HVAC knowledge and open protocols to drive project value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical sales within the HVAC controls or building automation industry.
• Proven track record of success in specification-driven sales environments.
• Deep understanding of applied HVAC systems, integration strategies, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical specifications, and control diagrams.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to manage financial projections and sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Drive specification influence by providing technical guidance and solution architecture to leading consulting engineering firms.
• Partner with mechanical contractors to deliver optimized control strategies for both new construction and complex retrofit projects.
• Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations to articulate the value of integrated HVAC and building management systems.
• Develop comprehensive project scopes and detailed proposals for complex controls packages.
• Manage a robust sales pipeline with precise forecasting to meet regional growth objectives.
• Collaborate with internal project management and service departments to ensure high-quality system deployment and long-term lifecycle support.
• Maintain deep expertise in DDC architecture, open protocols like BACnet and Modbus, and advanced sequences of operation.
