Job summary

Seattle University seeks a Budget and Operations Manager to lead budgeting, reporting, and contract administration for the Cornish College of the Arts units. You will coordinate payroll reconciliations, grant budgeting, and ongoing budget stewardship with campus leadership.

The role requires a business degree, 3+ years’ relevant experience, and strong communication and inclusivity commitments aligned with Jesuit values. Hybrid options may follow onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 3+ years’ experience, MBA preferred.
  • Oversee multiple budgets, generate spreadsheets and reports with accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and submit annual operating budgets and strategic projections.
  • Review salaries, benefits, and non-salary budgets; manage grants and capex.
  • Reconcile payroll, commitments, and grant reports; ensure budget compliance.
  • Coordinate faculty salary processes and adjunct contracting each quarter.
  • Oversee administrative operations and campus facilities collaborations.
