Cooperative Business Services, LLC is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer (BDO) to originate, evaluate, and advance commercial lending opportunities, aligning with partner priorities. You will guide borrowers through the lending process and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient deal execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan products, credit analysis, and underwriting fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Originate, evaluate, and structure commercial loan opportunities (CRE, term loans, lines of credit, SBA 7(a)/504).
• Perform financial analysis and pre-screening to assess creditworthiness and deal viability.
• Coordinate with underwriting, closing, and administration to move loans from origination to close.
• Serve as primary contact for borrowers and partners to ensure a seamless lending experience.
• Build and maintain referral networks and represent the organization at events.
