Qualifications

• 2 years of procurement experience required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Experience in Biotechnology industry desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office core applications.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central desired.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with leadership.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to obtain the best deals.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and invoices for inventory/consumables and services.
• Resolve supply chain issues or discrepancies related to open purchase orders.
• Ensure inventory/consumables meet quality standards and specs.
• Maintain inventory levels and timely reordering of items.
• Monitor market trends for cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain records of purchases, contracts, and vendor communications.
• Coordinate with operations and finance to align purchasing needs.
• Support inventory management including cycle counts and month-end routines.
