Job summary

CorDx is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end sourcing strategies for materials used in R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization of IVD products. The role partners with Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Logistics to optimize procurement and ensure FDA/ISO 13485 compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing within medical devices or life sciences, strong negotiation and analytics, and hands-on ERP/MRP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field; 5+ years procurement/strategic sourcing experience; 3+ years in medical device/biotech/life sciences.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Source and qualify suppliers for raw materials, reagents, chemicals, and consumables.
• Establish dual-sourcing and mitigate supply risks.
• Lead supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with planning to maintain stock.
• Resolve supply disruptions and implement contingency plans.
• Drive cost reduction while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on new product introductions and lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with FDA QSR (21 CFR 820), ISO 13485, and internal policies.
