Job summary

CheckAlt in Dallas seeks a Manager, Financial Operations to partner with the CFO at the nexus of Finance, Operations, Implementations, and Revenue Operations. You will oversee monthly billing, ensure accuracy and compliance, and drive timely customer invoicing in line with contracts.

The role requires 7+ years in financial operations, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office. Collaboration across teams and process improvements are key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in financial operations, billing, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or other similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in billing and finance.
• Experience in process improvement and project management.

Responsibilities

• Execute the complete monthly billing cycle with data validation, invoice generation, and distribution.
• Reconcile billing records with system data and customer accounts for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between billing systems and revenue records.
• Prepare variance analyses and reconciliation documents for review.
• Validate service delivery and usage metrics for billable charges with Operations.
