Job summary

Aventia in Hammond, LA is seeking a Bids & Proposals Coordinator to source procurement opportunities and lead the preparation and submission of winning proposals across private and government clients.

You will collaborate with Principals, Project Managers, Business Development and subject matter experts to develop compliant, well-written proposals and manage the bid development process on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years coordinating responses to private and government entities of all levels/sizes.
• Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling ability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact on assigned proposals and statements of qualifications, and lead and guide the work of the Bids and Proposals team.
• Analyze RFQs, RFPs and RFIs to create proposal outlines and development plans.
• Direct proposal kickoff and debrief meetings, and prepare detailed proposal plans, schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.
• Plan winning themes, value propositions, strengths, risk reducers, and differentiated solutions to initial proposal outline.
• Work with stakeholders to complete winning strategies and ensure the message is articulated throughout the proposal.
• Facilitate multi-disciplined groups in brainstorming and developing solutions to key aspects of the proposal.
• Solicit management reviews and approvals during proposal development.
• Monitor proposal content for compliance with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Monitor for relevant competitive procurement opportunities and manage bid opportunities pipeline.
• Lead and/or support the development and submission of winning bid responses.
• Research and gather information to include corporate information and standard materials.
• Maintain and improve library of reusable components, templates, and processes.
