Designed Conveyor Systems in North Carolina is seeking a Bid Manager to drive project bids from concept through final submission. You will sit in the Pre Contract team with engineers, estimators and account leaders, coordinating multiple pursuits and keeping deadlines on track.

You will own schedules, run stage-gate reviews, manage risks, and ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, and built to win while balancing competing demands across several bids.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating complex bids and proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple pursuits with competing deadlines.
• Strong communication with engineering, estimators, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the schedule for every active proposal, aligning engineering, estimating, and sales against submission deadlines.
• Run recurring reviews to surface progress, risks, and changes in strategy.
• Guide proposals through the stage gate process from qualification to final approval.
• Keep several pursuits moving simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed.
• Track proposals against win strategies and flag deviations early.
• Step in to resolve technical, commercial, or scheduling issues impacting timelines.
• Provide leadership with clear status on pursuits, including risk and confidence levels.
• Partner with engineering, estimating, and sales to ensure outputs are accurate, compliant, and win-ready.
