Job summary

Capgemini Engineering UK seeks an experienced CCM/Export SME to guide export compliance across bids and delivery. You will work with ERD UK to ensure adherence to export and technology controls, manage licences, and provide commercial insight on contract terms.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, at least five years in export control, and experience in IT services or engineering contexts. Hybrid working and security clearance (SC) are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in export control / compliance.
• Experience in risk and compliance programmes.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and customer leadership.
• Experience supporting bids and service delivery lifecycle activities.
• Experience in large-scale IT services or engineering services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Global trade governance: advise on UK export controls and US EAR/ITAR where applicable.
• Classification and risk assessment: support export classification and identify export-control risks throughout bid to delivery.
• Compliance planning: create, maintain and improve Export/Technology Compliance Plans.
• Licensing and authorisations: manage export licences and UK/US licences; ensure records meet requirements.
