Rockland Trust is seeking a Temporary Benefits Program Specialist to support the Benefits team through ongoing administration, compliance, and communications. The role partners with HR and vendors to ensure benefit programs meet regulatory requirements and align with colleague needs.

The position includes project support for benefits initiatives, system enhancements, enrollment activities, and employee education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in benefits administration or HR operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of employee benefits and retirement programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain benefits documentation, procedures, and vendor records.
• Coordinate HRIS testing, data validation, and system enhancements.
• Assist with vendor management, performance reviews, and contract compliance.
• Support open enrollment planning and employee communication initiatives.
• Contribute to change management and process-improvement efforts.
