Job summary

Rockland Trust, a Massachusetts-based full-service commercial bank, seeks a Temporary Benefits Program Specialist to support benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS testing within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

The role partners with HR, vendors, and technology teams to enhance retirement and benefits programs while driving process improvements and effective change management. Hybrid work is offered for a 6–12 month assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR operations.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting benefits implementations, systems enhancements, or large-scale benefits projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• administer employee benefits, retirement, and related programs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with benefit carriers, brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators.
• Support strategic benefits initiatives, system improvements, vendor onboarding, data validation, and testing.
• Develop benefits communications, education, and enrollment activities to enhance the employee experience.
