Job summary

Atlas, a global transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our HR team in Evansville, Indiana. You’ll oversee administration, analysis, and compliance of employee benefit programs to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

The role requires strong analytical skills and deep benefits expertise, with experience in ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA. You’ll develop reports, manage enrollments, coordinate open enrollment, and collaborate with vendors to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of benefits administration or HR programs management.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA compliance.
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and analyze employee benefit programs across medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement plans.
• Manage enrollments, events, eligibility changes, and terminations in HRIS and vendor systems.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and employee education activities.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and benchmarking analyses to evaluate plan performance.
• Review vendor invoices and ensure accurate billing and data integrity.
• Support regulatory compliance and prepare required filings.
