Union Health in Terre Haute, IN seeks a Benefits Analyst to administer employee benefit programs, ensure accurate processing, billing, payroll reporting, enrollment and employee support. This on-site role collaborates with employees, vendors and internal departments to effectively manage and communicate benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree preferred in business or related field.
• CEBS courses desired or pursuing CEBS specialization.
• Prior benefit experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible work schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with laws governing all employee benefit plans and tax-advantaged accounts.
• Identify ERISA reporting requirements and notify supervisor.
• Reconcile monthly billing for health, dental, Section 125, life, LTD and STD.
• Prepare data for benefit plans and submit to Finance for billing.
• Communicate benefits to employees and implement Open Enrollment.
• Assist with COBRA reporting requirements and life insurance claims.
• Maintain confidential records and assist with payroll-related benefits data.
