Job summary

Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to act as the main interface between customers and suppliers, driving revenue, profits and satisfaction through deep supplier relationships.

The role covers the full sales cycle, including credit management, order processing, forecasting and inventory control, with significant travel and collaboration with channel partners to close deals and deliver training on new products and technologies.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s / Postgraduate Degree in Sales preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical / Business field required.
• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
• Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
• Able to converse and write effectively in English and a local language.
• Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
• Able to negotiate skillfully and close transactions.

Responsibilities

• Create, Develop & implement supplier/vendor specific initiatives.
• Channel Partner & Vendor engagement.
• Execution - Credit management, Order processing, AR Collections.
• Operational excellence - pipeline management, forecasting & inventory management.
• Learn from existing BDMs on market potential and develop market base.
• Work with Channel Partners to develop sales competencies and close deals with hands-on involvement.
• Coordinate with Supplier for Partner Technical & Sales Training on new products.
