Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new opportunities in North America’s Academic Life Sciences sector. You will shape go-to-market content, engage customers, and build market intelligence to support sales and product strategy.

You will develop differentiated value propositions, collaborate with Marketing Communications, and lead efforts to expand ZEISS’s footprint in key subsectors while traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, or related). MBA or Ph.D. is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow qualified opportunities in North America Academic Life Sciences across subsectors and product lines.
• Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including market insights, positioning, and content.
• Deliver market intelligence, identify customer needs, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop differentiated value propositions and customer-facing content with Sales enablement.
• Engage with customers and KOLs to expand relationships and opportunities.
