Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Transactions Special Projects BD & Marketing Manager to support enterprise-wide marketing and business development initiatives. You will collaborate with BD & Marketing leadership and partners to drive client engagement and growth across practices, sectors, and geographies.

The role supports coverage during leaves and transitions, requiring adaptability, strong communication, and proficiency with BD systems. A hybrid work arrangement is offered across multiple U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
• 6 years’ marketing or business development in a professional services environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, executive presence and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support practice and sector groups when primary BD support is unavailable or additional bandwidth is needed.
• Collaborate with BD leadership on strategic growth initiatives and client targeting.
• Lead cross-practice and cross-sector projects to align with client needs.
• Develop and execute client-centric, data-informed BD programs and campaigns.
• Ensure consistency of the firm’s value proposition across client interactions.
