The role focuses on litigation-oriented practices and offers strategic guidance, coaching, and coordination across the BD & Marketing Department.

Responsibilities include pitch support, opportunity spotting, competitive intelligence, and mentoring coordinators.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; writing, research and analysis skills valued.
• Five+ years in marketing, business development, or client service.
• MBAs or JDs are a plus; law firm or professional services preferred.
• Proactive planning and opportunity spotting is essential.
• Highly organized with strong creative abilities.
• Ability to work with highest levels of firm management.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Tech-savvy and self-motivated; quick to learn new systems.

Responsabilidades

• Pitch, RFP, and presentation support; coach lawyers and craft pitches.
• Spot business development opportunities from industry trends.
• Strengthen practice/industry knowledge for pitches and proposals.
• Advise lawyers on relationship expansion and client strategy.
• Collaborate with practice groups to drive strategic initiatives.
• Gather intelligence after pitches; measure outcomes and improve.
• Conduct market and competitive research for client plans.
• Oversee and mentor client development coordinators and staff.
• Update lawyer bios, descriptions, and office profiles for publication.
• Respond to directories and rankings; manage awards submissions.
• Coordinate client alerts, newsletters, and value-added programs.
• Collaborate with communications on external messaging.
• Identify speaking engagements and article placement.
