Plona Partners is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager for Corporate & Financial Institutions in New York/Washington, DC. This hybrid role focuses on driving BD initiatives across corporate, tax, and financial services groups and coordinating with practice leaders to grow revenue.

You will shape and execute business development plans, prepare pitches, and manage cross-practice programs, collaborating with Marketing, Events, and PR teams to raise the firm’s market profile.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is required or strongly preferred.
• MBA or JD is a plus.
• Minimum of three years of professional-services marketing and business development experience.
• Prior law firm experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated track record of success in marketing and business development.
• Strong understanding of practice-group and attorney business development within a professional-services environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and proactive problem-solving ability.
• High-energy, creative, and value-added approach.

Mansioni

• Develop strategic business development plans with key attorney stakeholders.
• Coordinate fiscal-year plans, goals, and targeted initiatives.
• Manage implementation and measure outcomes for BD plans.
• Develop and monitor budgets for assigned practice groups.
• Act as a primary point of contact for leadership and partners.
• Implement BD initiatives to generate new business from existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare client pitches and RFP responses.
• Track win/loss activity and analyze financial data.
• Collaborate with Market Research and practice leadership to identify opportunities.
