Job summary

Hill International, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Business Development Manager to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and advance pursuit strategies across buildings and infrastructure in public and private sectors.

You will lead proposal and interview preparation, maintain competitor knowledge, and help recruit strategic hires while leveraging an established local AEC network. Applicants should have a BA/BS and 5+ years in marketing or BD for professional services; travel as needed;

Qualifications

• BA or BS, preferably in Communication, Business, Architecture, Planning or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Business Development role for a professional services firm, preferably with Construction Management experience.
• Strong project management skills.
• Established industry network of client and AEC contacts.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue opportunities: Understand Hill’s target markets, resources and services.
• Assist in developing client and opportunity strategies; position for targeted pursuits.
• Establish positive client relationships and grow the client base and office network.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and inform win strategy development.
• Develop win strategies and lead proposal and interview preparation.
