Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Business Development Director for the US Air Force and Space Force markets in the Digital sector. The role centers on identifying, developing, and qualifying opportunities, shaping strategic solutions, and driving customer engagement to win new business.

The incumbent will lead win-theme development, manage the full pursuit lifecycle, and collaborate with marketing, operations, and partners to ensure alignment with Leidos growth objectives. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of professional experience.
• Strong familiarity and relationships with USAF and USSF.
• Proven ability to grow a business pipeline across a heterogeneous portfolio.
• Strategic planning, financial analysis, and capture management experience.
• Diplomatic, persuasive and articulate communication to engage customers/partners.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and lead opportunity maturation and capture for USAF/USSF.
• Manage full lifecycle pursuit across multiple simultaneous bids.
• Design customer engagement plans and win themes; shape solutions.
• Participate in bid and proposal activities and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage division BD budget and forecast expenditures.
• Collaborate with industry partners and Leidos organizations to align strategy with business goals.
