Job summary

Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union in Connecticut seeks a Business Relationship Manager to cultivate relationships with business members, drive loan and deposit growth, and deliver tailored financial solutions.

You will structure commercial loans, present to Loan Committee, monitor portfolio risk, and collaborate across teams to ensure exceptional service while supporting community goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field is required.
• A minimum of four years of progressive experience in business banking, commercial lending or relationship management within a financial institution.
• Demonstrated success in originating and structuring commercial loans, managing business portfolios, and achieving growth goals.
• Experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Manage Business Relationships with members, providing consultative guidance and personalized service.
• Originate & Structure Commercial Loans, present packages and proposals to Loan Committee.
• Monitor Credit Quality & Portfolio Performance through reviews and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and represent the Credit Union externally at events.
• Assist with Loan Workouts, restructuring terms and settlements as needed.
