WEX is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sales Manager to join the Corporate Payments Commercial Team in Washington DC and Maryland. This role develops new direct business opportunities across the Corporate Payments portfolio and explores embedded payment verticals for virtual cards.

This individual contributor position requires a proven sales track record, consultative approach, and ability to manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and forecasts. Regular travel to meet prospects is expected.

Formación

• 8–10 years of direct sales, account and/or channel management experience.
• Proven track record of generating own leads.
• B2B payments or Virtual payments knowledge is a substantial plus.
• Strong relationships with executives and technical contacts.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and forecast revenue.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and qualify opportunities with potential direct corporate clients.
• Lead full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and proposals for new business pitches.
• Maintain up-to-date Salesforce data and revenue forecasting.
• Travel ~30-40% to meet prospects and visit HQ in Portland, ME.
