WEX Inc. is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sales Manager to develop new direct business opportunities across the Corporate Payments portfolio in North America. This individual contributor role may be home based with 30-40% travel and regular visits to the Portland, Maine headquarters.

The role requires a proven hunter mentality, B2B payments experience, and ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals while forecasting revenue and maintaining Salesforce data.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify opportunities with businesses where virtual payments fulfill B2B transactions.
• Lead full sales cycle from prospecting to close and post-sale follow-up.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and proposals for new business pitches.
• Negotiate contracts and forecast revenue with internal teams.
• Maintain up-to-date data in Salesforce and account records.
