Job summary

You will develop proposals, present technical and financial solutions, and drive sales within defined margins. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in technical commercial automation, 2+ years in automation sales, and strong IT, CRM, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of technical commercial/industrial automation experience.
• 2+ years of commercial/industrial automation sales experience preferred.
• Experience with Distech Controls, Johnson Controls, Delta Controls.
• Experience IT infrastructure including network topology, RAID data storage, IOT, cyber security.
• Experience selling energy-based solutions with guaranteed savings; strong sales presentation skills.
• Financial acumen including cost modeling for sales proposals.
• Experience developing technical and cost proposals; CRM tool experience.
• Self-starter and independent decision maker; MS Office and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate prospective clients and projects and build relationships at all levels.
• Manage existing clients to grow partnerships through events, reviews, and other activities.
• Develop client proposals and estimates using standard templates and pricing models.
• Expand service offerings to maximize sales growth while meeting client goals.
• Maintain a defined sales funnel and participate in forecasting activities.
• Align with annual sales plans and collaborate with the Director of Sales and Sr. Managers.
• Attend product and sales training to grow professionally.
