Job summary

America Auto Auction Group in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced Auction Licensing & Compliance Coordinator to manage state licensing, title accuracy, and regulatory compliance for offsite equipment auctions.

In this hybrid role, you will coordinate auction activity across multiple entities, work with DMV and Revenue departments, and guide licensing updates as the company expands into industrial equipment and trucks. A detail-oriented professional with 4+ years in compliance is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in compliance, titling, licensing, or senior-office operations.
• Familiarity with wholesale auction platforms and motor vehicle regulations is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3-4 days in Carmel, IN).

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of state-level auction regulations across the national footprint.
• Coordinate auction entities, track activities across legal entities, and ensure customer needs while maintaining compliance.
• Work with regulatory and internal counsel to renew licenses.
• Review inventory to ensure proper licensing for auction events.
• Serve as liaison between equipment division and state DMVs, Departments of Revenue, and law enforcement.
• Integrate acquired locations into regulatory framework during acquisitions.
