Omninet Capital LLC seeks an experienced Assistant Controller – Multifamily to lead accounting and financial reporting for our multifamily portfolio. You will ensure accurate, timely property-level reporting and provide hands-on leadership to the multifamily accounting team.

The role partners with Accounting, Operations, Asset Management and senior leadership to strengthen controls, drive a disciplined month-end close, and deliver meaningful portfolio reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience with multifamily real estate.
• Experience managing or supervising an accounting team.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, GL accounting and internal controls.
• Disciplined month-end close across multiple entities or properties.
• Experience with property accounting for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Aufgaben

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close for the multifamily portfolio, including statements, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Review property-level income statements and balance sheets for accuracy and variances.
• Ensure proper general ledger activity and consistent accounting practices across the portfolio.
• Review reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Support consolidated reporting, audits and tax reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, cash management and fixed assets for properties.
• Provide guidance and coaching to the multifamily accounting team and drive process improvements.
