Job summary

Omninet Capital is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller - Multifamily to lead the accounting and financial reporting for our multifamily portfolio. This role ensures accurate, timely property-level reporting and provides hands-on leadership to the accounting team.

The ideal candidate is technically credible, organized, and excels at bridging detailed analysis with strategic portfolio performance discussions with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience, including multifamily real estate.
• Experience supervising an accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close for the multifamily portfolio.
• Review property-level income statements and balance sheets for accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash management and reconciliations.
• Provide technical guidance and develop the multifamily accounting team.
