Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Memphis is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to support AR collections and cash flow improvements. This role reports to the Senior Account Resolution Specialist and supports the AVP and regional locations.

You will manage a portfolio of about 40,000 customers with $200M+ in annual revenue, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with multiple departments to resolve aging receivables and billing disputes.

Qualifications

• Familiar with basic accounting procedures.
• Experience handling daily financial transactions end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned portfolio of clients.
• Become familiar with client billing guidelines in their respective portfolios.
• Apply appropriate procedures to troubleshoot non-payment, including skip tracing, dunning letters, collection calls and e-mails.
• Conduct regular reviews of your portfolio to ensure that paged receivables are being properly addressed and uncollected accounts are escalated appropriately.
• Interfaces with field, sales management and Customer Service on resolving customer billing disputes, collection assistance.
• Attend monthly meetings with AVP’s and DOO’s regarding aging performance and problem accounts.
• Review policies and procedures.
