Job summary

Place Services Inc. is seeking a Manager of Purchasing & Payables (AP) at our Woodstock, GA headquarters to lead day-to-day AP and Purchasing operations, supervise staff, and ensure timely, compliant payments across divisions.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this hands-on accounting leadership role emphasizes process discipline, vendor compliance, and collaboration with Procurement to optimize spend and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Accounts Payable and/or Purchasing, including staff supervision.
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience across multiple entities or divisions is a plus.
• ERP software expertise, especially Acumatica; Procore is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and develop AP staff; manage workload and performance feedback.
• Oversee full-cycle AP: invoice receipt, coding, routing, payment processing in Acumatica.
• Manage weekly check runs, ACH and wire payments; ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Ensure vendor/subcontractor compliance (insurance, liens, W-9s) before payments.
• Monitor rejected, on-hold, and unapproved invoices; escalate as needed.
