Job summary

Place Services Inc. in Woodstock, GA seeks a driven Manager of Purchasing & Payables to lead the AP and Purchasing operations in a hands-on, construction‑industry environment.

You will supervise AP staff, oversee the full-cycle AP in Acumatica, and coordinate with Procurement to ensure compliant, timely payments across divisions. This leadership role emphasizes process discipline, team development, and operational excellence, with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in AP and/or Purchasing with supervisory experience.
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• ERP experience required (Acumatica preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop AP staff with daily guidance.
• Oversee full-cycle AP, including invoicing and payments in Acumatica.
• Coordinate PO creation and approvals with project teams.
• Ensure vendor/com subcontractor compliance (W-9s, lien waivers).
• Support month-end close activities and AP aging reporting.
• Identify process improvements in Purchasing & Payables.
