Job summary

U.S. Bank in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Insights & Analytics Lead Consultant to serve as a strategic analytics partner to senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Growth, Operations, Risk, Technology, and Consumer Banking.

You will leverage advanced analytics, experimentation, business intelligence, and data-driven storytelling to identify opportunities, deliver recommendations, and drive measurable business outcomes, mentoring analysts and shaping the analytics strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Six or more years of experience in analytics, statistics, business intelligence, or related disciplines.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Experience with Python, R, SAS, or similar analytical languages.
• Experience with Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to define business questions, success metrics, and analytical strategies.
• Lead complex analytics initiatives that support growth, customer experience, operational excellence, and strategic priorities.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and customer behaviors.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and business recommendations.
• Lead experimentation, test-and-learn initiatives, performance measurement, and advanced analytics efforts.
• Develop executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reporting solutions.
• Drive reporting automation, modernization, and best practices across analytics and business intelligence.
• Mentor analysts and consultants while helping shape the future analytics strategy of the organization.
