Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement to lead programs and communications that boost alumni engagement with the university.

You will work with the Alumni Engagement team, campus partners and volunteers to implement key engagement initiatives aligned with strategic goals. Responsibilities include planning events, managing volunteers, budgeting, and collaborating with donors and departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 4+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, project management and communication abilities; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct operational activities, programs and communications to increase alumni engagement.
• Plan and manage alumni events and programs, including budgeting and coordination with volunteers and campus partners.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and data analyses; enter data into CRM and generate insights for decision making.
