Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Practice Director, AI Solutions to lead the pre-sales effort for enterprise AI. This client-facing role defines architecture, framing, and defense of AI solutions before a statement of work exists, and builds a team of AI architects at scale.

You will own technical content for proposals and executive briefings, run workshops and briefings, and align data platforms, AI platforms, and security governance to deliver coherent client answers that drive value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years in technology with 5+ years in AI, ML, or data solutions in client-facing roles.
• 5+ years in solutions architecture or presales.
• Experience leading technical teams and communicating with executives.
• Hands-on depth in Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical presales across AI pursuits, including discovery, architecture, and defense of proposed approaches.
• Own technical content of AI proposals, diagrams, and assumptions.
• Run whiteboard sessions, workshops, and executive briefings with engineers and business leaders.
• Partner with account executives to qualify opportunities and advise when AI is not the right fit.
• Build a team of AI architects and hand off to services with documented design.
• Provide cross-practice architectural oversight for AI opportunities.
