Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a qualified candidate to manage a large AI program within the CAITO framework. The role focuses on translating strategic priorities into actionable workplans, coordinating governance, and reporting on progress and risks to leadership.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and several years of administrative experience, with opportunities to influence AI policy, adoption, and ongoing governance across academic and clinical units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field.
• Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the AI program, translating strategic priorities into workplans, milestones, and accountable owners.
• Manage the operating cadence of the Steering Committee including calendars, agendas, decision logs, and action tracking, so that work moves from discussion to decision to implementation.
• Maintain the institutional inventory of AI tools, pilots, and projects, and track adoption and value-realization metrics.
• Analyze program, outcome, and operational data to generate clear, actionable insights, and report progress, impact, and risks to the CAITO with recommendations.
