University of Wisconsin-Madison is launching a bold AI in Health initiative, uniting CAI and SMPH to advance research and education at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human health. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to shape strategy, convene faculty and partners, and build the operating foundation for this campus-wide program.

You will lead roadmap development, team building, budgeting, and governance, coordinating staff, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience planning, launching, and managing large initiatives or programs.
• Experience convening meetings with senior leaders, faculty, and external partners.
• Ability to translate high-level goals into concrete action plans and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience coordinating hiring, recruitment, or team-building processes in a large organization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsabilités

• Define strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the AI in Health initiative across CAI and SMPH.
• Lead meetings, working groups, and seminars with campus, health system, industry, and community partners.
• Coordinate staff searches and onboarding for initiative-related roles.
• Establish operating rhythm, track actions, and monitor budgets.
• Prepare reports and briefings for deans and senior leaders.
