Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) in a relevant field
• Five+ years progressively responsible experience leading research programs or center administration
• Demonstrated clinical-trial operational and regulatory experience
• Hands-on IRB experience including sIRB
• Strong human-subjects research knowledge, especially with older populations
• Experience leading multi-site research programs, budgeting, and events

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and operations for programs with significant business, regulatory and technical challenges
• Evaluate programs, identify issues, and develop alternative solutions
• Review trends and develop recommendations to meet program goals
• Represent the program at department and university levels and with external stakeholders
• Develop outreach strategy and fundraising activities
• Oversee budgets and financial monitoring; manage training needs
• Direct and supervise staff where applicable
