Job summary

Chalk is the AI data platform built for inference. Customers rely on Chalk for integrating context and runtime inside their own cloud, with Forward Deployed Strategists shaping architecture and project priorities.

You will partner with sales, delivery, and support; design and scope POCs, set correctness, latency, and cost bars; and help customers migrate to Chalk while maintaining production‑grade reliability across their environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience advising engineering teams on systems you did not build.
• Ability to scope and judge POC projects.

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery of a customer’s systems and constraints.
• Advise on architecture and migration sequencing for Chalk integrations.
• Design Chalk-based solutions with clear correctness, latency, and cost criteria.
• Scope and execute tight POCs with defined success criteria.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and support to align technical direction.
