Job summary

Chipply is hiring an Internal Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with internal teams and ship AI-powered solutions that reduce manual work and accelerate decision making. You will build production-grade agents, integrations, and deterministic tooling on top of existing systems, collaborating with leaders across Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering, with production code shipping to APIs and SaaS platforms.
• Proficient in Python and TypeScript; able to deploy and operate production code.
• Hands-on with SaaS APIs (HubSpot, M365, Slack, Confluence) and integrations.
• Proven work building with large language models in production and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI agents, integrations, and automations across departments.
• Inspect internal SaaS platforms to understand APIs and webhooks for robust integrations.
• Partner with leadership to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver measurable improvements.
• Write production code and build multi-tool, multi-agent systems across platforms.
• Develop evals, monitoring, and governance for AI systems and data handling.
• Lead education and adoption of AI practices and ensure security compliance.
