Job summary

Whitley Penn is seeking an AI Governance Senior Analyst to administer the firm’s AI platforms and lead governance, risk, and compliance activities. The role partners with IT, Legal, Risk, and Security to ensure secure, compliant AI deployment aligned with client service standards.

The ideal candidate has strong security and compliance expertise, preferably in a regulated environment, and will drive policies, dashboards, and reporting across AI initiatives in a collaborative, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Strong understanding and possible certifications in Microsoft 365, Copilot or Copilot Studio.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts including model lifecycle, training data, bias, explainability, and privacy.
• Ability to configure governance controls for AI use cases in Azure AI Foundry / Azure AI services, Azure ML, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, and Copilot.
• 7+ years in information security, cybersecurity or compliance in a regulated business environment.
• 1+ year working with AI/ML systems, model risk, or governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the administrator for the firm’s AI platforms and tools.
• Identify, assess, manage and mitigate AI-related risk including legal, privacy, security, and reputational risks.
• Define data and security standards with data owners, IT, security, leadership, and compliance.
• Manage licensing, access, settings, configurations, and policies in AI platforms.
• Execute an enterprise-wide AI plan aligned with goals and client service.
• Develop and enforce AI governance policies and oversee multiple initiatives.
• Develop, measure, and maintain reporting and roadmaps for AI leadership.
