Job summary

Eightelevengroup seeks an AI Governance Analyst in Charlotte, NC for a hybrid, 12-month contract role. The analyst will evaluate AI-enabled solutions, collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and IT to ensure responsible AI adoption, and translate complex AI concepts into clear guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.

The role focuses on governance frameworks, playbooks, and enablement materials while supporting ongoing AI governance maturation in a large enterprise

Qualifications

• Experience or working knowledge in AI governance, responsible AI, data governance, technology risk, compliance, cybersecurity, data privacy, enterprise architecture, or related technology governance disciplines.
• Exposure to AI or AI-enabled technologies and understanding of risks in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Cybersecurity, Data, Architecture, IT, or business teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn as AI technologies and governance practices evolve.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-enabled applications and technologies to understand use, data considerations, and risks.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Risk, Architecture, Data, IT, and business teams to support responsible AI adoption.
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear, practical guidance for diverse stakeholders.
• Translate governance policies, standards, and frameworks into actionable business practices.
• Support development and maturation of AI governance processes, playbooks, standards, and enablement materials.
• Participate in discussions on emerging AI capabilities, including generative AI and agentic AI.
• Assess alignment with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and governance expectations.
• Work with technical teams to understand applications, data usage, and technology implementations when evaluating AI risk.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance processes as AI evolves.
