Job summary

Mercor is hiring a Deployment Strategist to bridge Product, Engineering, Operations, GTM, and customers in scaling AI data projects for top labs. You’ll own scoping, technical strategy, and the roadmap for customer integrations, ensuring reliable delivery and customer-centric product evolution.

You will work in a highly technical, customer-facing role within Applied AI, collaborating with researchers and engineers to turn ambiguous requests into deliverable initiatives and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in Product Management, Technical Program Management, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or Implementation Consulting.
• Technical Fluency: comfortable with SQL/Python; able to discuss with AI researchers and engineers.
• Ownership: thrive in ambiguous environments and own from problem definition to execution.
• Commercial Judgment: weigh revenue upside against delivery cost and opportunities.
• Systems Thinking: strong PM and cross-functional communication; build repeatable systems.

Responsibilities

• Scope customer solutions during pre-sales with GTM and customers; define technical requirements and ROI.
• Drive account growth by formulating and executing growth plans with researchers and GTM leads.
• Lead customer implementations: assemble teams and coordinate across functions to deliver.
• Own customer integrations: roadmap integrations and expand surfaces for revenue.
• Make delivery reliable: lead incident response and root-cause analysis; prevent recurrence.
• Shape the product: translate recurring needs into product requirements and roadmap.
