Job summary

North Wind is seeking a Director, Supply Chain in Minnesota to develop and execute enterprise supply chain strategies across commercial and government programs. The role ensures alignment with program requirements, financial objectives, quality standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory guidelines.

The position partners with executive leadership, program management, engineering, operations, finance, contracts, and quality to embed supply chain requirements into planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in supply chain management or related field, preferably in an aerospace organization.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams, programs or a significant function.
• Experience developing and executing strategies for complex programs or operations.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government contracts in FAR/DFARS environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise supply chain strategy in line with objectives and growth.
• Lead supply chain execution across programs with accountability for material planning, procurement, inventory, forecasting, cost and schedule.
• Establish metrics and processes to monitor effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic oversight of procurement, supplier relationships, logistics, warehousing, and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and lead risk and opportunity management.
