Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an experienced Supply Chain professional to drive strategy and execution across the Machinery Systems portfolio. You will coordinate with PMO and cross-functional teams to ensure baseline budgets, schedules, and procurement plans are solid before program start.

You will lead program execution, manage resources and costs, and ensure supplier performance while addressing risks and opportunities. The role requires on-site presence in Sunnyvale, CA and a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years of supply chain/business management/contracts/program management, operations and/or closely related experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience
• 3+ years of prior experience leading a team/process/project
• Experience with general procurement and subcontract execution workflows
• Experience with general manufacturing and purchasing workflows
• U.S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance
• Must be able to work on-site in Sunnyvale, CA

Responsibilities

• Drives innovation and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain Management function
• Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for Machinery Systems in all phases of the BAP
• Ensures that baseline schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement strategies are complete before program execution
• Acts as the main focal point for the entire supply chain and coordinates with the PMO and cross-functional teams
• Leads supply chain program execution and is accountable for resource planning, cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, and supplier performance
