Job summary

North Wind is seeking a Director of Supply Chain in Minnesota to develop and execute enterprise supply chain strategies for commercial and U.S. Government programs.

You will collaborate with executive leadership, Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Quality to embed supply chain requirements into planning and execution. The role requires 10+ years in supply chain, leadership of large teams, and experience with complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in supply chain management or related field, preferably in an aerospace organization.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams, programs or a significant function.
• Experience developing and executing strategies for complex programs or operations.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government contracts in a FAR/DFARS-regulated environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise supply chain strategy aligned with objectives and growth.
• Lead supply chain execution across programs with accountability for material planning and procurement.
• Establish metrics and processes to monitor cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance improvements.
• Partner with program management and leaders to evaluate supply chain impact on cost and schedule.
• Provide strategic oversight of procurement, supplier relationships, logistics, and inventory; monitor costs and performance.
