Job summary

Safe Air Technology seeks an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead its end-to-end supply chain in a growing manufacturing setting. You will drive strategic alignment across procurement, materials management, inventory, supplier relations, expediting, and logistics.

You will partner with Engineering, Production, Operations, Quality, Finance, and project teams to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability while meeting delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years in supply chain/procurement within manufacturing.
• Experience leading purchasing and/or supply chain functions.
• Experience in project-driven, engineered-to-order environments like HVAC/electrical/industrial.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with growth, production, quality, and customer delivery.
• Lead purchasing, procurement, materials management, inventory control, supplier management, expediting, and logistics.
• Collaborate with executives and project teams to forecast demand and align material planning with schedules.
• Identify risks, long-lead materials, and shortages; develop mitigation plans.
• Establish priorities, expectations, and accountability across the supply chain.
• Direct procurement of materials, components, and services for manufacturing.
• Oversee sourcing of HVAC, electrical, and related components with suppliers.
• Develop supplier relationships for pricing, quality, capacity, and on-time delivery.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, terms, and lead times; seek secondary sources when needed.
• Monitor supplier performance with metrics and scorecards; quality and delivery emphasis.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing processes and contracts.
• Drive cost-reduction and strategic sourcing initiatives without compromising quality.
• Lead continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
